Jason F. Payne, CFP®, AIF®
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ & Accredited Investment Fiduciary®
"Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom"
-- Victor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
Jason has been a Financial Advisor for over 27 years. He is a husband, father and son first but when he is at work, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) ‘Superhero’. Jason has a way of helping people achieve the calm that comes from having a great Financial Plan in place. His ‘Superhero’ strength is to see the various pieces of a client’s financial puzzle and organizing those pieces in a thoughtful and kind manner that motivates clients to take action and pursue their life’s passions.
Jason loves helping people transition through all seasons of life, as well as the inevitable storms that happen along the way (retirement, death of a loved one, divorce, children, job change, inheritance). He has a special passion for helping to empower women, as he knows that women have particular financial demands and challenges. He is passionate about teaching and enabling clients and their families to take charge of their futures. Jason also excels at partnering to assist small business owners like himself, as he understands their unique and complex needs when it comes to their individual situations.
In addition to his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Jason is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ (AIF®).
The prestigious CFP® certification is one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. Jason is dedicated to helping his clients work toward their financial goals by guiding them through the investment planning process set forth by the CFP Board of Standards.
The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation is a professional certification that demonstrates an advisor or other person serving as an investment fiduciary has met certain requirements to earn and maintain the credential. The purpose of the AIF® Designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
I am married to Joey Payne, who I met in the 2nd grade at Park School Elementary in Spanish Fork, Utah. We still call Spanish Fork home. We have 4 wonderful children - Ridge, Kennedy, Peyton and Paisley. Family life has evolved over the years from endless hours of attending soccer, tennis and ballet events with our kids to enjoying getting to know them as people and friends. My children have come to appreciate the classic sound of 80’s music - How could they not? It always brings a smile to my face when I hear them singing the classic tunes around the house.
My passion is finding things to do with Joey and the crew (children). We love canyoning, repelling, shooting guns or simply chilling to binge watch Netflix. I am currently trying to find a love for Pickleball—it seems to be the ‘thing to do’ these days.
