"Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom"
-- Victor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
Jason has been a Financial Advisor for over 26 years. He is a husband, father and son first but when he is at work, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) ‘Superhero’. Jason has a way of helping people achieve the calm that comes from having a great Financial Plan in place. His ‘Superhero’ strength is to see the various pieces of our client’s financial puzzle and organizing those pieces in a thoughtful and kind manner that motivates clients to take action and pursue their life’s passions. Jason helps people going through all seasons of life, as well as the inevitable storms (transitions) that will happen along the way (new job, job loss, retirement, divorce, death and inheritances). The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation is a professional certification that demonstrates an advisor or other person serving as an investment fiduciary has met certain requirements to earn and maintain the credential. The purpose of the AIF® Designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
I am married to Joey Payne, who I met in the 2nd grade at Park School Elementary in Spanish Fork, Utah. We still call Spanish Fork home. We have 4 wonderful children - Ridge, Kennedy, Peyton and Paisley. Family life has evolved over the years from endless hours of attending soccer, tennis and ballet events with our kids to enjoying getting to know them as people and friends. My children have come to appreciate the classic sound of 80’s music - How could they not? It always brings a smile to my face when I hear them singing the classic tunes around the house.
My passion is finding things to do with Joey and the crew (children). We love canyoning, repelling, shooting guns or simply chilling to binge watch Netflix. I am currently trying to find a love for Pickleball—it seems to be the ‘thing to do’ these days.
