CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ & Certified Retirement Counselor®

“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

-- Maya Angelou

Jen has an early connection to Utah Valley, having been born at Utah Valley Regional Medical while her parents were attending BYU, but she was raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Finance and then went on to work as a research analyst for Wasatch Advisors. Once her son was born, Jen transitioned into a different kind of work – the work of a stay-at-home mom.

Jen has always been drawn to the world of personal finance. There is something so empowering about knowing that your financial life is in order and you are prepared to weather the different seasons of life you find yourself in. The draw started with Jen’s degree in Finance and was enhanced when she experienced the transitional disruption of a divorce and the power of having a Financial Plan in place. This transition has led her to being a Financial Advisor with Timpanogos Financial Advisors, helping others to be proactive with their finances.

Jen is passionate about learning and sharing that knowledge with those she cares about. She loves to help clients know and understand their finances better in order to help them to be prepared for whatever season of life they are in. She and Jason work together in serving our existing and prospective clients. Jen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Retirement Counselor®.

The prestigious CFP® certification is one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. Jason is dedicated to helping his clients work toward their financial goals by guiding them through the investment planning process set forth by the CFP Board of Standards.

When not in the office, I am most excited when I have a racket in my hand – tennis, pickleball, table tennis, even badminton - and some friendly competition. I have a thirst for learning and self-improvement that is insatiable. My kids have vowed to immortalize the words, “So I was listening to a podcast……” on my headstone. I now fully expect the inevitable eyeroll from my kids that accompanies that statement, but can’t help sharing those tidbits of wisdom. I love living in Orem at the base of Provo canyon. My happy place is trail running/hiking up Big Springs while catching up (literally and figuratively) with friends.
